PYROTHNICS
At M&G production we are fully licensed to provide you with pyrotechnics, a new technology that is sure to amaze you along with your guests. Please note that fireworks and photonics are NOT the same thing. Pyrotechnics is a great way to make a grand entrance at a wedding for the bride and groom, or it can also be used when performing their first dance or cutting their wedding cake, to help make that moment more magnificent and memorable. Pyrotechnics can also be seen used on stage by a lot of bands and artist such as KISS and Celine Dion. When we refer to pyrotechnics we are primarily focusing on Explosions, flashes, smoke, flames, fireworks or other propellant driven effects used greatly in the entertainment industry. Pyrotechnics all summed up is in-door fireworks that are safer and more hazard free then other explosives and fireworks only when handled by licensed professionals with extreme caution and care! Improper use of pyrotechnics can cause huge disaster similar to the one that occurred in the year 2003 in a Rhode Island nightclub called The Station. The Station nightclub fire was started when the fireworks used for the performing band Great White were used accidentally ignited flammable soundproofing foam. The pyrotechnics in question were not appropriate. The foam caused combustion to spread rapidly and the resulting fire led to one hundred deaths!
The substances and material that are contained in the pyrotechnics are capable of undergoing self-contained and self-sustained exothermic chemical reactions for the production of heat, light, gas, smoke and even sound. Exothermic is known as the process or reaction that releases energy usually in the form of heat, but also in form of light, for instance , electricity, sounds, sparks, flames or better yet explosive explosions!

DIFFERENT SHAPES AND STYPLES
Silver Jet Sparks
Silver jet sparks creates a silver flash of sparks. Available in various heights and durations this is a great way to ass some sparkle to your wedding day. Silver jest sparks can be used either during the first dance or during the couples toast.

Bubbles
having bubbles blown in the air while you are leaving the chuch is a great way to celebrate your first moments together as a married couple.

Smoke Puff
Smoke puff is created when a bright white flash in a mushroom shaped cloud explodes in the air in dazzling silver-white/gold crackling sparks.

Airbursts
Airbursts, just like the fireworks seen on Canada Day, this particular design bursts in the air causing a mid-air explosion with golden sparks.
Pyro Curtain Wall
The pyro Curtain wall is a Cascading Effect that explodes from the ceiling down on the dance floor. What a great way to add a little fire to your night.

FIREWORKS
Fireworks, even though work the same way as pyrotechnics , there are still a few differences. Invented in the 12th century in China, the world’s largest leading manufacturer and exporter of fireworks. Fireworks main purpose is to produce four primary effects: noise, light, smoke, and floating materials such as confetti.
The most important part of the firework is a pasteboard tube or casing filled with combustible material. Combustion or burning is a complex sequence of exothermic chemical reactions between a fuel such as hydrocarbon and an oxidant accompanied by the production of heat or both heat and light in the form of either a glow or flame. A number of these tubes or cases are often combined so that when the tubes are ignited or lit, a great variety of sparkling shapes ranging in all sorts of colors appear.
The whole firework is run using sets of small jets that produce thrust. These jets are normally connected rods usually seven, that are welded together at the center to an iron tube which has a small sprocket attached to it at the other end. The power acquired from the jets depends primarily on the shape usually circular and size of the firework. The jets alone only produce a yellow colored flame. However, a simple yellow flame is just neither attractive nor exciting. However, different colors

DRY ICE
Dry ice is an effect that can do wonders to your wedding. Weather it is used for your ultimate grand entrance, precious first dance as husband and wife or just simply during the cutting of the fabulous cake, dry ice is surely a way to amaze your crowd on your wedding day. So what exact is dry ice and how does it even work? Dry Ice when combined with hot water strikes a reaction that produces forceful bubbling water and flowing fog. What an amazing view. Within time, the water will begin to cool down and the volume of Dry Ice will also start to weaken. As the water cools, the fog becomes clearer and lighter looking. When the water gets colder than 50º F, the dry ice stops making fog, but still continues to produce and release bubbles. The fog has been noted to have longer lasting effects when dry ice is used on a damp day rather on a dry one. It is recommended that every fifteen minute period you should add twenty five pounds of dry Ice into three to six gallons of hot water. If these measurements are followed, they should produce the best fog, depending upon the temperature of the water and the size of the pieces of Dry Ice. As noted previously, hotter water will make more fog. There are many techniques you can follow to keep the water hot. For instance, use a hot plate, electric skillet, or some other heat source to produce fog for a longer period of time. Note that, if the water gets too cold it must be replaced to continue the fog effects.
CONFETTI
Confetti is another great and colorful way to add some spice to you first dance or grand entrance. Confetti is simply small, thin pieces of paper - usually shaped and colored - that are thrown over the bride and groom after the wedding. However, just know before you plan to use confetti if it is required in your venue, church or reception hall. Many places no longer allow confetti for it creates a huge mess. If however your venue allows the use confetti and you are planning to use it, as a wedding planner, and from the number of weddings I have conducted, I will give you my personal opinion when it comes to using confetti. Save the confetti for the end! Even though it may look gorgeous during the moment, having people step on confetti all night is going to cause one messy hall. Having a mess hall and pictures is simply unattractive and will decrease the elegance of your wedding.
There are different types of confetti machines, all of use different amounts of force ultimately producing different results when the confetti is shot.

Confetti Flickers
This type of launcher is easy to use. By the flick of the wrist, confetti shoots up soaring about fifteen feet into the air. Confetti also comes in creative bottles for instance a grand size champagne bottle.
Confetti Storm
This confetti device is truly grand and definitely something your guests will be talking about for days! This particular device can easily spray up to 50 feet of continuous confetti covering an area of up to 2,000 square meters. This device is also great for it can be used in a continuous manner or can be controlled to produce confetti on and off at any given time.
BALLOONS
Balloons are a great way to add some colorful décor to your wedding. Whether you want them floating on the ceiling, bunched in a bouquet or at the door entranced, there are many different variations. Many places can also have balloons specially shaped in any creative way you desire. Helium of course is the best way to fill your balloons to ensure they can keep their shape.
