Before choosing your bridesmaids dresses, you must make sure you know exactly who all your bridesmaids are going to be. Choosing your bridesmaids dress can be a taught experience for there are a number of things to look for and consider. Choosing the best bridesmaid dress takes time and much needed effort. A list of the following things to consider is listed below, in no specific order.

Consider the size of your girls. Are some petite while others are more of a heavier build? Some girls might feel comfortable in a short dress while the thought of showing some leg skin to others is simply frightening. The last thing you want is for your bridesmaids to feel uncomfortable and unattractive in their dress. If possible, choose girls that are similar in body shapes, style and taste. This will at least reduce the number of conflicts and problems that may arise.Is the color of your choice flattering on the majority of the girls? Some girls hate the color pink, while others love it. How will you come to decide which color to choose.How much s the dress? Are the girls going to be able to afford it or is it going to put them in dept?Is the dress the taste and style of the majority of the girls?

These things are just some of the potential questions you must consider before choosing your bridesmaids dresses. The last thing you want is to make the girls feel like they have no choice or say in their bridesmaid dresses. If the girls don’t like their bridesmaid dresses, not only will they not feel comfortable in them, but the way they conduct themselves during the wedding ceremony, wedding photography and even wedding reception will be affected.
The best way to assure the majority of your girls are happy is to be flexible, lenient and understanding. Let the bridesmaids choose maybe the dress they like. Make accommodations for girls that are older in age or don’t feel comfortable showing too much skin. Just remember, that your bridesmaids are not obligated to take on their role, they are simply doing you a favor.
